Product alert: You
may see particles floating in the massage oils, that is the shea butter
oil I use in my formula. I do heat it before blending (because it is a
solid butter), but in the colder weather it sometimes solidifies again.
But, it is so moisturizing, I hate to remove it from the formula, especially in the winter when we need it the most. If
you've ever seen pure shea butter, you know what I mean. If not, google
it & check out the wikipedia page. This massage oil gift set includes 4 - 1 oz. massage oils in 4 fragrances of your choice. Will be packaged in an organza gift bag for easy gift giving.
Smooth on your
skin and let the fragrance calm and relax you while the oils soften your
skin. Add a teaspoon to a warm, full bath for an aromatic, moisturizing
bath. Step carefully afterward, your tub may become slippery.
This can also be used as a cuticle oil to soften cuticles prior to trimming.
Here's
a great money saver! The oils I use in the massage oils are the same
oils I use in my sugar scrubs. If you want to make your own scrubs, just
buy massage oils and add to your own exfoliant. It can be sugar, salt
or a combination of both. Add some coffee or oatmeal grounds. There are
so many sugars out there, brown, fine white, turbinado, demerara, etc.
Use table salt, epsom salt, kosher salt, etc. Start with the dry
ingredients and add the oils slowly, constantly stirring, until you are
happy with the scrub. Common ratios are 3 oz. dry to 1 oz. massage oil.
