lotion refill bag, bath and body

As part of my on-going efforts to provide eco-friendly products, I'm happy to offer our lotions in a ziploc plastic refill bag. No more throwing out empty lotion jars and bottles, reuse them and reduce waste. It saves money and it's easy!

>Here's how it works<
1. Make sure the top is ziplocked tight. Squeeze lotion away from one of the bag bottom corners to allow a clean cut:

2. With sharp scissors, cut out a corner piece for dispensing. Make it really small to refill bottle containers with a slim opening or larger if you are refilling a jar:

3. Squeeze out the lotion in the same way you would operate a pastry bag, start from the top and squeeze out as much as you can into your container:

4. Using a flat plastic or wood object (I'm using a wooden shish kebob stick here, but you can use the flat side of a butter knife, a rolling pin or the flat edge of a plastic spatula), push the lotion towards the hole you have cut & squeeze out the rest by hand:

5. After you've emptied out all the lotion, you are left with just a small, plastic bag to throw away into your recycling bin:
