Description

Pink Grapefruit (Citrus Paradisii)

The perky aroma of a freshly squeezed sweet and juicy grapefruit. Energizing and invigorating.

The main chemical constituent of Pink Grapefruit essential oil is d-limonene. Limonene is in the monoterpenes group and possesses strong uplifting aromatic characteristics. The uplifting benefits found in limonene are what make Grapefruit oil a great oil for aromatic use. Limonene also has the ability to dissolve oils, which makes it a common ingredient in hand cleansers.

The many benefits of pink grapefruit oil include:
  • Surface disinfectant
  • Stimulating the immune system
  • Decrease fluid retention
  • Curb sugar cravings
  • Reduce depression
  • Country of origin: United States
  • Extraction process: cold pressed
  • 100% Certified Pure Essential Oil

Pink Grapefruit oil blends well with Bergamot, Frankincense, Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Peppermint, Rosemary and Palmarosa oil.

General Safety Information: Pink Grapefruit oil is phototoxic, so if you do apply it to your skin (diluted), avoid sun exposure. Not recommended for internal use. Do not apply undiluted essential oils onto the skin, always dilute with a carrier oil. Avoid essential oils if you are pregnant, breast feeding, epileptic, have liver damage, cancer or have any other serious medical problem. A skin patch test should be conducted prior to using an oil that you've never used before. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Difference between Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils
How to Use
* Bath & Shower: Add 5-10 drops to hot bath water, or sprinkle into shower steam before getting in for an at-home spa experience.
* Massage: 8-10 drops of essential oil per 1 ounce of carrier oil. Apply a small amount directly to areas of concern, such as muscles, skin or joints. Work the oil gently into the skin until it is fully absorbed.
* Inhalation: Inhale the aromatic vapors directly from the bottle, or place a few drops in a burner or diffuser to fill a room with its scent.
* DIY Projects: This oil can be used in your homemade DIY projects, such as candles, bath bombs, bath salts, soaps and body care products.
