Lemongrass (Cymbopogon Schoenanthu)

A refreshing bright zip of lemon with notes of green.

Besides being a delicious citrusy seasoning in Thai cooking, most of us would never guess that this delicious thready grass holds so much healing power inside its fibrous stalks. It is stimulating, relaxing, soothing, and balancing. Some of the most common benefits of lemongrass include:

  • Relieves headaches
  • Kills germs
  • Repels bugs
  • Reduces fever
  • Boosts energy
  • Deodorizing air freshener
  • Relaxes muscles
  • Country of origin: Guatemala
  • Extraction process: steam distillation
  • 100% Certified Pure Essential Oil
Lemongrass oil blends well with Bergamot, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Geranium, Lavender and Rosemary.

General Safety Information: Not recommended for internal use. Do not apply undiluted essential oils onto the skin, always dilute with a carrier oil. Avoid essential oils if you are pregnant, breast feeding, epileptic, have liver damage, cancer or have any other serious medical problem. A skin patch test should be conducted prior to using an oil that you've never used before. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Difference between Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils
How to Use
* Bath & Shower: Add 5-10 drops to hot bath water, or sprinkle into shower steam before getting in for an at-home spa experience.
* Massage: 8-10 drops of essential oil per 1 ounce of carrier oil. Apply a small amount directly to areas of concern, such as muscles, skin or joints. Work the oil gently into the skin until it is fully absorbed.
* Inhalation: Inhale the aromatic vapors directly from the bottle, or place a few drops in a burner or diffuser to fill a room with its scent.
* DIY Projects: This oil can be used in your homemade DIY projects, such as candles, bath bombs, bath salts, soaps and body care products.
